Prime is commited to utilizing technology to enhance business functions. We employ an IT Manager to track new advances in technology and support our current investments in hardware, software, and communications. To manage the never-ending flow of information that streams from every business and project activity, we have a full-time Information Manager who designs, maintains, and streamlines procedures to collect, index, and disseminate all information.

Since a large portion of Prime's business activity occurs across numerous jobsites and in remote offices, we leverage technologies that enable us to work efficiently—and effectively—no matter where we are. Our jobsite offices have two complete PCs with access to all vital business applications via high speed Internet access with firewall, print/fax/scan capabilities, digital cameras, and TV-VCR combo units for training videos.

We use T-1, DSL, or dialup Internet access as available for each location; firewall security and Virtual Private Networks; server-based applications; and custom database software to assist in controlling projects, tracking correspondence and managing information, with web access to the system for project partners. This helps ensure that everyone working on the project has access to the same critical project information anytime, anywhere.

Project Owners, Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors can all view and print Contractor's Daily Reports, RFIs, Submittals, Meeting Minutes, ASIs, Change Proposals, Construction Issues, Architect's Observation Reports, Punch Lists, and Warranty Items as needed to stay on track and keep everyone on the same page. Subcontractors can submit their RFIs to us thru the system, Architects and/or Engineers can respond to our RFIs and Submittals directly, and all critical project documentation that isn't created by our system is hyperlinked into it for easy access.

We believe good communication and collaboration by everyone involved is essential for the timely and satisfactory completion of each and every project. Providing the means to do that is just another way Prime is advancing the benchmark of construction excellence.
